Public Notice Regarding Directory Information

In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Champion
Schools hereby provides notice of the types of information designated as “directory
information” Directory information is defined as information contained in the education
records of a student that would not generally be considered harmful or an invasion of
privacy if disclosed.

Directory Information May Include:
 Student’s Name
 Address
 Telephone Listing
 Date and Place of Birth
 Participation in Officially Recognized Activities and Sports
 Dates of Attendance
Rights of Parents and Eligible Students:
Parents and eligible students (students who are 18 years of age or older) have the right
to restrict the disclosure of directory information. If you do not want any or all of the
types of information listed above to be designated as directory information, you must
notify the school in writing.
Notification Period:
Please submit your written notification to the school within 10 days of this notice.
